Sunday, Day 2, Long-arse Day

Plague news: no new cases! There's thirteen total active cases, twelve of those are in hospital. Australia's at 88% first vax, 76.8% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 77% first vax, 63.5% fully vaxxed.

Toasty streamed at their usual time this AM, so now I'm waiting on Tale Foundry before I do my stream. Then I fight to stay awake until 3PM so I can sleep enough for D&D at 10PM.

Whee fun.

Also one of my nail varnishes just fell off so there may or may not be a manipedi in my future. Time will tell.

Right now, I'm looking through all my available unfinished WIPs whilst I wait.

Later on, I may be running a Chill and Chat so I can up my viewer average. I really want to be part of Game of Tomes, but it's not looking fantastic for that. Sigh. I can try all the same.

In the news:

  • Bert Newton's passed on
  • Solar flare headed for Earth
  • Some fuckwit flew a Nazi flag over a synagogue
  • Massive hailstorms hit Qld
  • Victorians angry at their Premiere because of vax mandates
  • Crypto surges again

Welp. That's all the news I see fit to document. On with my personal nonsense.

Challenge #03200-H291: Between a Rock and...

The human had, somewhat grudgingly to start with, accepted a job from a havenworlder who read too much from the infonets and didn't always understand the gist of what was put there. The job sounded dangerous, so they prepared for the worst. The planetary survey, a small ship just big enough for the human and a very, very small crew, was likely the most boring one they'd ever been hired as guard duty for. It was like being paid to go on

Saturday, Day 1, Mad PLNs

Plague news: no new cases! There's seventeen total active cases, fourteen of those are in hospital. Australia's at 87.9% first vax, 76% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 77% first vax, 63% fully vaxxed.

Everything's opening up and damn the infections. I am looking forward to getting my Covax when it comes out. The booster that prevents the spread. Even if it lands me in hospital, I will firkin take it.

It's better than spreading the plague.

Yesterday, I finished my novel and

Challenge #03199-H290: An Honest Mistake

Dear General,

It is true that your soldiers may outnumber mine.

But the ocean runs deep.

I am certain that you will run out of men, before the ocean runs out of space. -- Anon Guest

It only looked like a Graveworld. There were all the signs. Ruined buildings in the midst of assorted plants run amok. Domesticated animals turned wild, creating an ecology of their own. There were even apocalypse journals left where they might survive until discovery.

More Graveworlds were

Friday, Day 0, Set-up Issues

Plague news: One new case, an import. We have seventeen total active cases, twelve of those are in hospital. Australia's at 87.6% first vax, 75.5% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 76.5% first vax, 62% fully vaxxed.

I have starters to feed, bikkie to eat, possibly a Catio to fix... it's a holiday, so Chaos is staying home for a long weekend.

I don't have to clean the Catio because my little furmonsters haven't been in there for the entire week.

Challenge #03198-H289: I Am Not Here, I Did Not Die

There are many stories of first contact, what about a last contact? When a species is so doomed that no technology could help them recover? -- Alex

We are the Elm, and we are dying. We have accepted this, and send this to you. By the time you translate this message, we will likely be gone. Do not mourn for us, as we have had enough of mourning.

No grand mistake has caused this end. We have merely reached the end of

Thursday, Day 0, PLNs

Plague news: one new case, an import. Seventeen total active cases, thirteen of those are in hospital. Australia's at 87% first vax, 74.8% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 76% first vax, and 61.8% fully vaxxed.

Today, I will be doing a lot of unriddling with an aim to become a reporting streamer for Game of Tomes. All going well, I should be able to do all of the things necessary. Fingers crossed.

If it goes badly, I might be building wibbly

Challenge #03197-H288: Dietary Restrictions

A Human has a very sensitive digestive system due to the damage done from multiple illnesses before they escaped the Deregger world they'd come from. Now working aboard a Havenworlder ship, they found even many of the Havenworlders' foods too harsh for their digestion, and had to explain why the foods they made, while nutritionally balanced, were bland even to the Havenworlders. -- Anon Guest

Human Roi was a Rescue. The crew of the Pohkit Ansee knew this on an intellectual level,

Wednesday, Day 0, Wordpress

Plague news: Two new cases, both local. Damnit. There's 24 total active cases, fifteen of those are in hospital. Australia's at 87% first vax, 74% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 75.7% first vax, 61% fully vaxxed.

Mayhem is over the reaction to his second jab, and heartily endorses the vax mandates. We need those things for public safety. Just like we need road rules, traffic lights, and handrails on walkways.

PUBLIC. SAFETY.

Doctors, Nurses, and the entire Service Industry NEEDS to have

Challenge #03196-H287: Not Singing With Them

The humans were having ice cream sundaes, as much as they can eat, while their superiors reported to their allies about the battle, and their allies read the battle reports and all the horrors within.

https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-02772-g215-to-aid-in-aggression -- Fighting Fit

"All the little angels rise up, rise up. All the little angels rise up high," the Terran Space Marine Corps were singing over ice cream sundaes with all the lashings. There weren't as many of them singing as

Tuesday, Day 3, Patreon

Plague news: no new cases. Twenty-two total active cases, fifteen are in hospital. Australia's at 86.8% first vax, 73% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 75%first vax, 60.7% fully vaxxed. We need to get the firkin lead out.

I have Patreon posts to make today. Some chapters and a Tale Foundry entry, but not a lot for the dollar tier.

My patrons are going to get a sneak peek of the road trip variant of my Chaos Table.

My battle today

Challenge #03195-H286: Dished Out

They left no bodily mark on their torture subject, but the being was screaming for mercy within but an hour, maybe less. The chamber was pitch black, it was not warm, nor cold, the walls were so soft they could practically not be there, though they were strong to hold the subject in, and there was no gravity, so no pressure on the body. Total sensory deprivation. The subject was not even able to hear their own voice.

When cruel people want

Monday, Day 2, So Tired

Plague news: No new cases! Twenty-three total active cases, sixteen of those are in hospital. Australia's at 86.6% first vax, 73% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 74.8 first vax, 60% fully vaxxed.

I am sleep deprived today. I could not get more than an hour's unconsciousness pre-D&D and then couldn't easily sleep at 2AM to 5:30AM either. Blargh.

I will certainly sleep tonight. BUT I gotta stay awake until bedtime.

FUN.

My murder hobos love Magical Marvin. Just

Challenge #03194-H285: Stumbling Blind

Poor Jay develops a crush on Lilicoon and asks if she would be ok to date her.

https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-03030-h107-tea-and-socialisation -- Anon Guest

Uplifts were literally made to be attractive. It wasn't their fault. On planets and in polities where they weren't outlawed yet, a certain type could have an Uplift made to order. Some called them Anthros, some called them Beastfolk... but the important part to remember was that they were victims.

Jay and Lilicoon had that starting

Sunday, Day 1, On Schedule!

Plague news: no new cases! There's twenty-six total active cases, seventeen are in hospital, and the one person who was in the ICU got out. Australia's at 86% first vax, 72.5% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 74.6% first vax, 60% fully vaxxed.

NSW and Victoria are starting to use the Vaccine Passports. MeMum has hers. I need to get rattling to make certain Chaos has hers and Mayhem has his. The former involves a lot of paperwork. Ugh.

Beloved had trouble
