Challenge #03173-H264: Error of their Ways

A Deregger empire decides to attack the Alliance and the CRC using every weapon they have at their disposal. They were determined to force the Alliance to start seeing things their way for once. They learn the hard way why that's a BAD idea. -- Lessons

War has changed. For one thing, it's a lot rarer. The field of defense has expanded itself to the point where offense is rendered next to moot. Nevertheless, there are those who insist on ignoring that fact. The Deregger's Empire of Libertaria saw the Alliance as a swollen, slow behemoth ripe and ready for plunder.

They saw them as weak because they hadn't fought any wars for centuries. The best could hope for was the scattered police of the CRC and the highly dubious Pax Humanis. The latter of the two had to have clearances in order to be used.

Clearances meant red tape. In a realm that large, red tape meant that the clearances could be tied up for a very long time. They might not even see Pax Humanis before all the criminals who committed the acts were long dead.

Sunday, Day 0, D&D Nite

Friday, Day 0, Lockdown Looms

Plague News: SIX new cases, all local transmission. Twenty-two total active cases, nine of those are in hospital. Australia's at 77% first vax, very nearly 78%, 54% fully vaxxed. Queensland is at 47% fully vaxxed.

Challenge #03170-H261: Nothing Was Hurt

Human Lass has to mentally contend with the fact she's been eating the body parts of COGNISCENT beings and their pets, since she's been refusing all other foods, and the plants on this planet are almost all cogniscent. One has to imagine the mental collapse as she recognizes the pieces she had on her plate not long before, with the surgical procedures she just witnessed on the plant-beings.

Challenge #03169-H260: They Only Look Harmless

A researcher decides, out of curiosity, to see if it's just human adults that are dangerous, and how far back that 'dangerous' could be listed. Then they read the study of a human toddler named Pib, and research other human toddlers aboard other ships that employ adult humans. Let's just say the kill counts for the toddlers, and the description of what these kids did, caused the researcher to end up in therapy, terrified of human children.
