Wednesday, Plague Day 2, Everything's Cancelled

My breakfast is a slight bit cold. My tea is a slight bit hot. As a result, I'm taking my pills with spoonfulls of tea so I don't burn my lips on the mug. I am hoping that I will be over the worst of it by Friday.

I might even have to pause the daily tale. I will see how I feel about stuff and nonsense after the painkillers kick in.

In my list of symptoms:

  • Headache
  • Backache
  • General creaky joints
  • Swampy sinuses
  • Shuffling gait
  • Constant exhaustion
  • Shortness of breath
  • Getting up to pee once what feels like every other hour because of all the fluids ingested
  • And otherwise feeling like the dishrag or sponge found at the bottom of a college kitchen sink.

I have to wear sunglasses to use my compy because light HURTS. So I stay away, and nap a lot.

I will take everything I do in short bouts and hope for the best. We shall see what comes out of me during the day.

A broken-hearted child who was severely scolded and reprimanded all because they were trying to be kind, now hesitates to help even when asked. Constantly terrified they are going to be shouted at for doing even the smallest thing for anyone. They've taken to isolating themselves, afraid of being around others, and in need of a lot of therapy.

Tuesday, Plague Day 1

Yesterday gave me a scratchy throat. It also gave me a nice notice from Miss Chaos' school saying that there had been CORONA EXPOSURE in her class.

Miss Chaos comes home this afternoon. Which means we can perhaps get all the nonsense together for the NDIS sign on process. The longer we procrastinate, the worse it gets for her. Therefore we need to get a wriggle on.

Thursday, Camp for Chaos

Today's the day that Chaos leaves for a grand adventure in the wilderness. She's been on one before and wanted to be on this one.

Wednesday, Date Night, and Wordpress

I think, at last, that I am ready to attempt codifying the rights and responsibilities of my pet universe. I will attempt to cover them from basic to complicated needs.

I hope to cover them all, but there's bound to be gaps. So I shall consider it a "living" document whilst I, at least, live.
