Saturday, Unfucking and SUMMER!

It is PUNISHING hot out there, so I'm waiting for sunset before I tackle the catio. I just about boiled to death during the bus watch this morning. Blargh.

Heat had me dizzy during stream this morning and I may estivate so that I can actually have the energy for such this afternoon.

I still have to work on the 2K summary of Adapting and I really don't want to face that now.

Stupid hot weather has me all woobly.

At least the firkin cyclone headache has gone. Huzzah.

I has story for you, and then I shall see what I'm up for. I may be doing my projects when I've cooled off more than a smidge.

Marilene was lost. Mama had sent her to gather 'enough' kindling and, with the help of some reeds and grass, now had a bundle of twigs bigger than her on her head. That was the good bit. She was being a good daughter for Mama.

Wednesday, Wordpress and Hair

I'm getting my roots recoloured and my undercut retrimmed today. So the Wordpress entry is going to be another installment of the fanficcy version of A Devil's Tale.

I'll get straight onto that rather than wait until the end of the day.

I shall be using the iPad for writing so I don't churn through my internet allowance whilst concocting more devilish drama. I might get most of a chapter done during the day.

Sunday, Solutions!

The epic saga of the Sound System is done! With the purchase of a new amp, and some other incidental accessories, we have a working record player! Yay!

We also have a working casette player, but all my old tapes may have become warped since the last time I put them down. Sigh.

So the record player thing is turning into a bit of a saga. Whoops. Nothing is ever easy because snobs about audio stuff had to make things difficult.

Friday, Unfuckening and Unriddling

The record player is now in its proper place! Yay. Now the problem is that the power cord isn't powering the thing. Boo. It's a hellaciously expensive record player, so I doubt the whole thing has gone to Silicone Heaven.

It's probably the power cord. And if it isn't the power cord, then it's the power plug. We shall be doing some investigations when both of us are conscious.
