Wednesday - Day Zero - Mor Shenanigans

THREE new cases from overseas and the odds of One Arsehole are increasing. It also means that there are more and more people with the plague attempting to reach areas without. That is, as I have previously stated, how you spread the plague.

One arsehole can shit on everything for everyone.

Election is happening in the USA and no matter who wins, the right wing will be firing upon the left wing. The only real difference is whether the ones with guns will be wearing MAGA hats or Police Uniforms.

I want the aliens to abduct me. I can get used to all the anal probes they want to do. I can NOT, and emphatically refuse to, get used to fascism existing in this world.

It's almost Bus O'clock as I write this, and I'm scared to look at the headlines. I'm going to pay no attention to the source of all strife, today.

  • Melbourne Cup's only female jockey under fire. Is it sexism or is it because of the horse? It's sexism. This was literally her first race
  • Kid in Melbourne died while swimming with friend in a river
  • Plague shuts down Sydney restaurant after it flaunted the rules. Shocker
  • China continues to rattle sabres over trade. This time it's allegedly about crayfish
  • NSW set to open borders with Victoria
  • Yet another horse dies whilst running the Melbourne Cup
  • Some idiot shoots up Vienna, still at large
  • Woman slut-shamed for having cleavage showing on a plane. What, like she's going to distract the pilots somehow?
  • Musk actually delivering high-speed satellite internet to the world
  • QLD authorities looking for a croc with its mouth taped shut so they can rescue the poor thing before it starves
  • Commonwealth bank puts a freeze on forced home sales that were caused by Covid
  • Burger King UK sends customers to Maccas UK [and other fast food places] as a show of solidarity during lockdown
  • ScoMo caught out in double-standard of "it's okay when it's my mates doing it" during AusPost debacle.

And now I retreat from the outside world and write some pleasing nonsense. Huzzah.

Tuesday - Day One and Shenanigans

The coels were wurruping this morning, so it's for sure going to rain. My cyclone headache continues and we're out of ibuprofen. Gotta go and get some more in bulk from a convenient chemist somewhere in my shenanigans.

Because today, I am due to do the shrink visit again so that's my window of opportunity. Also because Scatterbrain, I will be working on my Instant on my Lappy. Fingers crossed, I get things done before I must get moving. If not, though,

Monday - Day Zero

Another singular case from overseas and detected in quarantine. Another reset of my paranoia because of the One Arsehole Theory. Today's agenda calls for House Unfuckening plus Driving Mr Mayhem with a dash of writing on the side.

Yes, folks, Mayhem is actually doing something to... Get a JOB. The skies may bleed. Be warned.

We've cleaned the Maker Debris from the shed and now there is space for two cars only. So if hail cometh whilst the Tesla is away, I

Sunday - Day Zero

No notice on where this newest case came from. It could be an error. I don't know. We did do our patriotic bit to help oust ScoMo and I am heartened by the fact that White One Nation's popularity has plummeted phenomenally in my fair state.

I can only hope that Scotty From Marketing notices that he and his shenanigans are on the way out. Same with the people behind One Nation.

I have seen a chart where One Nation's approval went

Saturday - Day Zero

Another case from overseas, and discovered in quarantine. So I'll be voting later today with FULL mask and gloves nonsense. Beloved will also be wearing a mask and gloves, because of the One Arsehole Theory:

"It only takes one arsehole to shit all over everything," -- Me

Also the gloves make it so I can use any hand sanitiser present without burning my skin off. Alcohol allergy makes for fun times in the year of the plague.

In the News:

  • Sweden realises

Friday - Day One

My flour did not arrive in the post, so I've fed my Starters and prepared The Bikkie as if we definitely had enough bread [two loaves only in the freezer makes me a smidge nervous] and hoping it arrives before next Friday, because the only flour I have left are skerricks. I may have to make an expedition to get some organic flour elsewhere.

Time will tell.

Today, Mayhem is out to the place made to help him so he can gain

Thursday - Day Zero

Two new cases from overseas and detected in quarantine. Augh. Including the five active cases, that's me practicing paranoia for a further fortnight because of the One Arsehole Theory.

According to some email, I might be getting my replacement flour today, so part of my day will be watching my phone for the all-important AusPost text telling me that something is in my parcel locker.

IF that parcel arrives today, I shall also use the opportunity to grab some extra cream from

Wednesday - Day Four

The Senate has confirmed a blatantly pro-life judge and "cruelty is the point" advocate for the supreme court, which is now 6-3 in favour of absolute evil. Two weeks before the election. They have all stated that they're going to let the Muppet do whatever he wants, throw out the postal votes, and ignore any tally that comes not-instantly after the polls close on the actual election day.

Fascism is real in America.

Today, rights formerly fought and won will erode.

I

Tuesday - Day Three

I have posted my Patreon nonsense - lots of Tiefling Tales today. I have a PLN to go out shopping for some things, but not all the things, and I have words to yet pour into my novel-in-progress as well as an Instant to write.

Yay.

There's an election upcoming and I don't know if we're early voting to avoid the crowds or going in person and me in mask. Because I won't go anywhere without my mask when all it takes

Monday - Day Two

It is the day of the Great Unfuckening, which promises to be expensive because I spent an ENTIRE WEEK noping out of smaller unfuckening tasks. I get what I deserve and the consequences of my inaction.

I still have to get the following:

  • Coffee
  • TP
  • Cream
  • Heat lamp bulbs [not red coloured because OMG]
  • new shoes for Miss Chaos
  • new shorts from the uniform shop for same

And SOMEHOW save enough cashola to pay for the bathroom rennos because the bathroom sink

Sunday - Day One

I have to make Beloved cut my new loafs so we can wrap them and freeze them for the later on of great need. I have ordered new flour because we're almost out of the dang stuff.

Sourdough eats flour. Even keeping it alive at the rate of half a cup of flour a week gnaws away at the supplies. It took me a while to get through ten kilos, but it all goes away in the end.

I'm writing a story,

Saturday - Day Zero - Bread Part 2

Two cases again from overseas, on a boat. No word as to whether they're staying on the boat or what. Blargh. My dough is thawing on the dining room table as I write this blog.

I'm leaving the Wordpress results of the troll up. It's a part of my learning journey and that kind of documentation might be important at a later date. Whatever. It is a piece of my past nevertheless.

Sigh.

It's Saturday and we're out of cream, I'm running

Friday - Day One - Bread Day

This morning I fell for a troll, fed my starters, and measured out the stuff to make bread with. I have confirmation that the ducks are marching towards a final destination of getting Miss Chaos on the NDIS. I have made The Bikkie and am eating chunks of it as hunger nibbles at me.

I have yet to take my coffee and pills, but all in all, it's not bad for being awake since 3AM. I'll take the positive. The thing I

Thursday - Day Zero

One new case found and staying in Quarantine... BUT I stand by my "one arsehole" paranoia.

Today, I shall be recording images of ALL the paperwork related to Miss Chaos and sending them to the case manager. Our scanner is currently out of commission because the one compy it talks to is slowly dying. I'm not sure if we can get it to scan things any more.

Ugh.

Let's look at the headlines:

  • Queensland is building a new north-south highway
  • Muppet cuts

Wednesday - Day Four

I know what I'm doing with Wordpress Wednesday, and it's A Chapter Of... Not just a chapter of an unedited novel I have finished, but a chapter of a thing that I've written before and during the plague. A thing that, though it won't earn me a red cent [because Wizards of the Coast will probably sue me if I try lol], gave me immense joy to read and write in a very stressful time.

I would come back to it again
