Saturday, Day 0, Today maybe?

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. Forty-one active cases, thirty-seven of those are in hospital

Beloved has had some very rough days at the office, so to speak. So progress on Mobile Instants has come to a screeching halt. If Beloved can't figure out the unriddling of the problem, then I have NO hopes.

Fingers crossed that the unriddling happens today.

Also in my PLNs:

  1. The mandatory Instant
  2. Attending the first entirely online writers' convention
  3. Eating a lot of carbage

With luck and good fortune, I should be able to get things accomplished.

In the news:

  • Lockdown in NSW
  • Singapore has fab "new" plan to just "live with covid". Cue the next ravaging variant that originated there. Thanks guys. You're part of the problem
  • Beachgoer captures looming clouds before a honker of a storm
  • One Bunnings is hiding free gifts in its store
  • Egg hack recommended by videomaker for toddlers is probably dangerous as hell for them
  • Prince Harry used HRH on Lilibet's birth certificate in spite of agreement not to
  • Families catching the Delta variant at 100% rates
  • NOW they're suggesting dedicated quarantine sites in Qld and Western Australia. Not in NSW where they've had the MOST plague-related bullshit
  • Hong Kong pro-democracy newspaper cancelled by China goes down with middle finger raised
  • The tower that collapsed in Miami was sinking for decades before it collapsed
  • They're making lab-grown meat in Israel
  • Billionaire's house bulldozed... to make way for a luxury housing development
  • Mum adds spigot to soaker bucket, makes a fortune, and you can get it at Aldi
  • Praise for Woolies' shelf stockists
  • There's now luxury IGA's
  • John McAfee, inventor of the antivirus software MeMum loves to hate, died in prison and his wife predicted it. All because he was an honest dude who was outspoken against corrupt officials
  • Tradie won $6.7 million jackpot in lotto

And now I write story and hope to unriddle the program.

Challenge #03073-H165: Soft, Fluffy, Friendly

They had been working for a few months now with the havenworlders, who had gotten quite used to hearing them wake up screaming but it broke their crewmates' hearts to hear it each night. A de-regger rescue who was still learning that the world was not as cruel as they believed. The companion goes in one sleep cycle as the human begins to whimper and thrash in the special sleeping bag. A gentle hand petting the hair, a soft, trilling, lullaby, the

Friday, Day Zero, Overstretched

Plague news: One import, three local transmissions. Thirty-nine active cases, thirty-five in hospital. No lists of where any hot spot might be.

They really need to release people from quarantine AFTER they get the test results back. This is like the fifth time someone tested clean until the last day, when they were tested and released, and came back positive.

I have a lot on my plate today. Including the house unfuckening, starter feeding, instant creating and 1K Friday... I also have

Challenge #03072-H164: Surprise Change of Plans

She was hunting for them, seeking hir out. The ancient one, the magi who went by many names, the one who had a thousand children, and more grandchildren than the world would ever know, yet possibly none by their own blood. Spotting their camp, the kobold, hir, and the bugbear child. Slowly through the underbrush she went as silent as a shadow in the moonlight. Then, swiftly, she sprang. Sudden flares shot out behind her in brilliantly colored sparkles, almost blinding in

Thursday, Day 0, Fargnax

Plague news: Well the Qld Health site is broken a little bit, but there's one new case. It's an import. Thirty-five active cases, thirty-three in hospital.

Beloved had a bad night yesterday, so still no progress on the program. It's finding the right hour to unriddle the dang thing that's the current problem.

Since I have little else to do but my stories today, I shall aim to get twice the amount of tags done today. Maybe even more than that. We

Challenge #03071-H163: A Deal is a Deal

A: What am I your f** wingman?

B: Come on you owe me for last time.

A: be quiet you Sonofa- whatever, don’t come crying to me later. I’ll try to create an opportunity for you, oh, and this will cost a little mor-

B: yeah I know what you want, it’s in the basement. -- Anon Guest

Wednesday, Day 0, Wordpress

Plague news: 1 local, two imports. Thirty-five total with twenty-seven in hospital. Once again, the local transmission is a quarantine worker who assumed they were safe and let the protocols slip. Whoops.

The vax only protects YOU. It does not stop transmission because this shit can hang out on surfaces for a day or more. Wash your fucking hands, wear your gotdang mask, and know where your hand sanitiser is.

...and vaccinate your fucking kids...

In program news - Beloved and I

Entitlement. When one thinks of that word, they think of humans, especially stuck up females, though some males are as well, that are self-centered jerks who thinks the world should do everything THEIR way. But it comes in all forms. This havenworlder was self-centered, a total brat, and thought that just because the humans were kind to their kind and often allowed their people to ride on their shoulders to get from point A to point B safely, that the humans were

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: Five new cases, all imports. Thirty-two total, twenty-seven in hospital.

That's some scary numbers. The waves happen overseas, but they still wash up on our shores.

I have some Patreon stuff to share - yay. And some screencaps to make for the program progress. And five hundred words to write. And an Instant to create.

In the news:

  • Gold Logie winner hit by a car
  • TV Host accused of imitating That Scene Sharon Stone Did
  • China attacking crypto
  • More concern

Challenge #03069-H161: Steep Repair Work

Hello InterNutter, long time reader, first time poster here. I was wondering if you could give us the other sides' view on this? How the parents, and students, felt and viewed things as they were being forced to watch the videos showing their actions and her pain? What the CRC's reaction was seeing something like that happen in their schools? How the witnesses who watched the trial, and the others following with the timeline, reacted to it all? How the administrators thought

Monday, Day 0, Fan-firkin-tastic

Plague news: One local transmission, zero imports. Twenty-seven total cases and twenty-six of those are in hospital.

...yaaaayyy...

I need to poddle along to a Chemists and get myself some saline for the nebuliser because I am almost out of the dang stuff.

The F-key on my keyboard keeps popping off and I may have to get a new keyboard at some point. Depends on how annoying this gets in my future.

Today: house unfuckening, 500 words, and the daily instant. If

Challenge #03068-H160: We Agree With You

HAH! (Heavenworlders Against Humans!) stated as an small movement which mutated into an organisation that had only 3 "simple" demands/ goals

1 Rid Alliance space of humans

2 Restrict Greater (and lesser) Deregulations to their own space and strictly guard and monitor their borders

3 Return to the peace and safety that was pre Human Alliance.

the Alliance was at a loss as to what to do with this steadily growing absurdity, as Heavenworlders had never recorded instances of *rofanticising past civilizations.

Sunday, Day 1, Stream

Plague news: twenty-six total cases, and all of them are in hospital. Yikes.

Toasty's doing a stream sometime real soon now. I wait in eager anticipation of that nonsense.

Didn't get any coding done yesterday because out and about trying to get stuff. We did get most stuff, but not the one thing that I had absent-mindedness about.

It was hollandaise sauce. They didn't have any. Ugh.

Not looking at the news. Just focussing on having some literature done before an early

Challenge #03067-H159: Take Only Pictures...

Animals go extinct constantly on Earth due to habitat loss and human misuse of the lands and animal stocks. Thanks to the paradox of time, and good ships, they came since the earliest era, and animals being driven to extinction due to human actions were collected and taken to pristine worlds where they could thrive, being careful to introduce the animals in a way that didn't harm, or alter, the local ecology, but rather where the animals could integrate into the ecological

Saturday, Day 0, Feast Day

Plague News: Three new cases, all imports. Twenty-nine total and twenty-two in hospital.

Mum's got a sore arm and has trouble raising her jab arm because pain. Otherwise, all seems relatively well.

Today, post-story, we need to do stuff. The dinner plates are going extinct, so we should get another cheapo set from Kmart. There's also something I forgot to get and still forget now.

Like... I remember that I remembered when I was scoping out the fridge... but I forget what
