I never did get the hang of Thursdays (Day Zero)

Yet another case linked to those Covidiots who went to Melbourne to go shoplifting -_- As far as I'm aware, they still haven't tracked down the Patient X who's the missing link between some cases they've found so far. As far as I'm aware, the second wave in NZ still doesn't have a single source.

That's what makes this plague so horrific.

One asymptomatic person with a lot of contacts can wreak a lot of havoc.

I'm still staying away from the news because Heartbreak hurts.

I have found a new rabbit-hole and it is called Satisfactory. Equal parts Minecraft, Fortnite, and Factorio. With perhaps a dash of No Man's Sky. It is so gorgeous to look at and enrapturing to play.

Unfortunately - $45 to have. Worth it though. If you can't afford it, feel free to watch people being ridiculous with it. Much fun.

Speaking of fun, I should work on a story. And 100 words in my novel. And whatever happens to strike my fancy after that.

Wednesday! Day 1!

Today's Wordpress is probably going to be about helping the Long Haulers adapt to their new normal. The Chronically Ill community is having a sudden influx of scared, confused, and possibly angry people who are suffering and they need an understanding voice.

Even if they listened to the Muppet, and caught the plague, it is still not their fault that they caught it. Blame lies on the advisor if anyone. Infectious diseases are non-descriminatory.

Day Zer- OMG

Nine cases today. NINE! Three of them are from overseas and isolated, but the rest... The rest of them are linked to a youth prison. A youth prison that is linked by staffers with aged care and disability care homes.

Huzzaaaahhh...

Queensland is now in severe lockdown and the message is out - the longer this goes on, the more restrictions there will be. Stop these shenanigans at once or we shall all be bricked into our homes.

Groundhog Day Zero

Groundhoggening: Day Zero

Once again, someone turned up in Queensland with symptoms. They're in isolation, but it's still Day Zero and I'm starting to get ropeable. Day Two and it's More Fuckshit

Science has discovered that the plague can hang around in the air in small doses, but it's unknown as to whether that's enough to infect someone. So far, the chain of circumstance is looking a bit convoluted for me to be very alarmed. Nevertheless, it does explain the Superspreader incidents.

Day 1, once more around again

The three cases yesterday were all from outside. One already in isolation and the other two out on a boat. I don't know if they're staying there, but it's apparently a big boat and a small crew. Huzzah.

Gotta unfuck on Friday (Day 3)

It's foggy, we're on day three of no new plague cases, even though there's that one bloke who broke quarantine five days early and is in parts unknown. Last I heard, anyway.

I've fed the cats, fed the starters, and my harvest pancake is currently cooking. Yay. I still have yet to unfuck the house, but that is scheduled.

I'm feeling organised as heck.

Still Exhausted

I can't sleep, my body is tired, my brain is wired, and my eyes don't know where they are. Let's get today over with so I can try again tomorrow.
