Friday, Unfuckening

I did the open letter to the kids suffering under asinine laws allegedly "designed to protect children".

It's over here if you want to read it.

I'm still thinking about where to share it for maximum audience reach.

I'm about to go out and secure stuff for the cats. We're out of kitty litter and the catio needs unfuckening.

When I'm done with all of that, I shall be getting back to writing today's tale.

I'm offski. Let's get shit done.

Challenge #03770-J117: Big Chaos

Small Human Child: "For some reason, I always do a chaos if I'm not next to Rennie at bed time."

Small Child's Parent: "It's true. You don't want to see it. I didn't want to see it last night. Can you play quietly until I'm ready to go to bed?"

SHC: "Maybe." -- Escla

Companion Ghayth considered the very small Human currently playing with their KidReader(tm)[1]. They were peacefully guiding a digital effigy on a randomly-generated world. Chopping trees and

Thursday, Catching Up?

There's been shenanigans on shenanigans around here and I had a bad case of the DunWannas where I was chasing my endorphin fixes for a while.

I might still be doing that.

There's a lot to do and my digestive system is not helping my inclination to get the thing done.

Things be going right through me these days. Bit of a pain.

Speaking of pain...

I haven't done jack towards my longer-term goals and the more I procrastinate, the deeper my

Challenge #03769-J116: Risk and Reward

A special tower has been built to test the skills of anyone who claims to be a skilled thief. The higher they go, the more fabulous the treasures and books, but also more cunning the traps. None of the traps are lethal, at most they're embarrassing and uncomfortable. With some, failing the thief and sending them back to the beginning. -- Anon Guest

If you live your life on the streets or among the rooftops of Deepwater, it doesn't look like anything

Wednesday, Wordpress and Shrink Day

I have what boils down to a phone call today, so you know that that takes care of the rest of plans.

I want to write an open letter to all the trans kids currently suffering under the brutal thumb of Right Wing Rot... but my emotions are gonna get drained enough through the shrinky stuff.

I might do an extra feature tomorrow. Time is of an essence with these kiddos. They need the support and writing is all I can really

Challenge #03768-J115: Don't Pet the Plants

The expedition lands on a planet that is a Havenworld, an incredible paradise. Unfortunately, several of the very, otherwise harmless, plants, act for the ship's crew the way catnip is for most cats. The plant is utterly harmless otherwise. -- Anon Guest

It was a beautiful Havenworld. Nothing living there was even cusp-cogniscent, so it was relatively young[1]. The plantlife was short and squishy and easy to both harvest and consume. And, according to the last transmission, smelled real good.

The

Challenge #03767-J114: While You're Away From Your Body...

They're a bookworm, they thought they had died. They awaken in a place that is rows upon rows of books further than the eye could see, almost more than a mind could possibly fathom. An eternity to read them all, with comforts, meals, and even washrooms. What is this wonderous world? -- Anon Guest

It was a wonderfully comfortable bed. Darlenydd didn't really want to wake up, but the looming cluster of recollection kept poking her towards consciousness. There had been some

Monday, Little Progress PLNs

Everything cancelled this weekend. Yay.

So I have a little extra energy and may actually make some progress in my usual nonsense.

Chapter Count: Still slogging my way through Chapter 269.

I might get on to writing more of that.

My other plans include slobbing around in my pajamjams and just being kind to myself.

Let's get on with that and see where my mood takes me.

Challenge #03765-J112: Raise Them Right

Los estudiantes duros aprenden lecciones de disciplina y respeto de la manera más dura, negándose a escuchar de otra manera. -- Anon Guest

[AN: Translation- Tough students learn lessons of discipline and respect the harshest way, refusing to listen any other way.]

The students called him Sensei Hellkin, when they called him anything at all. They couldn't know anything about his true identity because he never spoke about it. That, and it probably wouldn't matter a whit to them that he was

Sunday, Twofer

I have done Game Night, I have done the Twofer stream. TaleFoundry cancelled because the host has Lurgi. Toasty has cancelled because a need to be kind to themself.

So I have most of Sunday free so I can take a napnap before PathFinder with the rainbow crew. Maybe.

I know what happens when I say I have the rest of the day free. Something comes to EAT that time. So I'm not saying it.

I have nothing further planned than fuckin'

Saturday, Dominoes

Allow me to draw your attention to the meme blank I have attached to my blog. It illustrates how one little thing can lead to big consequences down the line.

Like... the little one could be labeled, "Emperor Constantine sees a cross in the sunshine" and the large one would have, "President Reagan decides to let millions die of AIDs for moral reasons" That sort of thing.

For me today, it would go thusly: Little event - "Beloved spends a little too

Challenge #03764-J111: Flying, BYO Wings

Humans are NUTS! This one bought something called a hang-glider. Are they jumping off that massive cliff with that thing? This is CRAZY! Thank the powers I have wings and can at least follow! -- Anon Guest

Humans cannot fly on their own. This is known. This does not, however, stop them from slipping the surly bonds of gravity by any other means.

This one was a giant kite. Aluminium tubes, brightly-coloured silk, and very little else. There was a sling attached

Friday, Bad Air Day and Unfuckening Grande

I start my narrative to anyone who cares to read about my life with Max the Nebuliser strapped to my face. The cause of that is decluttering the LandBarge and a Great Key Hunt.

Today, the LandBarge is getting detailed. On Monday, it's getting serviced. Therafter, we're getting rid of it in the process of becoming a One Car Household.

Getting rid of the LandBarge and getting rid of the Tesla will save us upwards of $2K/week as I understand the

Challenge #03763-J110: Recycled Staff

I have died many times now. Each time I am reborn, I have all of the memories of my past life, and the lives before that. I was warned about this, but until my job is done, and they're all safe, I accepted this fate. -- Anon Guest

Sometimes, it's a pain in the arse to be indispensable. It's a worse pain in the arse to be indispensable on a Deregger ship with appropriated B'Nari tech. The instant the CEO noticed my
