Challenge #03901-J249: Convergent Primate Studies

A ship of scientists, both human and galactics, came upon a level 4 deathworld, with some level 5 areas, that was suspiciously like prehistoric earth. What happily surprised the humans, and horrified the galactics, was that the primates were nearly an exact match to homosapiens! What would they be in a few hundred thousand years? -- Lessons

[AN: I'm taking them a little further back than H. Sapiens. There's some interesting evidence to suggest that hominid civilisation goes as far back as H. Habilis]

In an infinite universe, all things are possible. Given that, it was only a matter of time before unusual happenstances could repeat. Such as a level 4.5 Deathworld evolving primate-based hominids.

The Humans gathered with the observers of such things to take notes and compare with what they knew of their own development. Assumptions from centuries past were blown to smithereens with the first concealed observer drones.

"Hominids wore clothes! Look! And they're building shelters out of the local flora. Oooh! Oooh! They're caring for a tribesmember who has a broken leg."

Tuesday, Patreon and Continuing On

Monday, Tale Foundry and PLNs

The Foundry is together once more to share their sordid little tales. I have three more stories to share than usual, so it promises to be fun.

The QPP and I agree that the TMNT movie is very well done and a refreshing change from the Pixar/Disney smooth bug-eyed model.

One nitpick: why is the main storyline badguy Black-Coded? They gave him a "ghetto" accent and the animators had an excuse to use the dreaded 'mushmouf'

Saturday, Change of PLNs

Adorable has been incapacitated in the wee small hours, so no parkrun this morning. I had to unriddle some banking nonsense before I commenced the horseshit this morrow.

Thursday, Back to the Grind

I am only expected to give minimal offerings, today, so the chances are good that I shall complete some significant portions of a tutorial for Stencyl. At last.

I am confident that, once I complete all the tutorials, I should be able to build a passable game to suit my goals.

Wednesday, Wordpress, Patreon, and a Date

I forgot what I should also have been doing yesterday. Concentrating on the daily tale and the meme.
