Tuesday, Patreon and Other Shenanigans

So everyone's talking about the Oscars and the Thing That Happened. Let's get a few things straight:

  1. Jaida Smith has a chronic condition that effects her appearance
  2. Chris Rock decided that being a dick about this was funny
  3. Will Smith decided not on my watch
  4. All the conservative/white hot takes are all "violence is wrong" because misogyny/racism and misogynoir [which is specific misogyny against black women]
  5. And for SOME REASON we're getting a resurgence of "if you ignore abuse, the abuser will go away" horseshit

Chris Rock deserved more than a literal slap in the face, but white conservatives everywhere are acting as if a slap in the face could have killed him???? Way to play to the "violent black man" stereotrope when Rock himself acted as if this was an awesome callout.

Enough about that nonsense.

It's Tuesday, so my goals are to post a bunch of stuff on Patreon. Then build some more dungeon, and then maybe faff around.

The HORRIBAD cyclone headache that's been bugging me since Sunday went away finally and at last. Yay. My former solutions [painkiller, eat something chewy, and sleep] didn't work that well but a bubble bath with Beloved seemed to have done the trick. After a good sleep.

So now I have space in which to do things and arrange stuff.

IDK what stuff I'm arranging, but I can do that.

Monday, LONGEST Monday

I got home a little after my bedtime from my adventures to wish Capt S. a very happy birthday. So I have less rest than what passes for normal.

BUT... no worries. Miss Chaos has optometrist today so no school to fret about. Huzzah. All I have to worry about is phoning in the absence call once school is open. Yay.

After the stream, the phoning, and the Tale Foundry reading sesh, I can spend the rest of the day asleep.

Saturday, Slob Day

I am taking a day off. I am not wearing proper clothes. I am not going out. I am not doing anything more strenuous than cleaning the Catio [forgot it yesterday] and making the Bikkie.

Friday, NDIS and other nonsense

Today, I need to have all my paperwork nearby because video conference with NDIS personnel. Fortunately I know where all that paperwork is and my only hurdle thereafter is being able to enable the conference call because they are using the DODGIEST bundle of bloatware they could for this thing. Huzzah.

We need to keep telling public services that use conference calls that Discord is free. It is also not bloatware and also not riddled with hacker loopholes.

Amatu, Vee, Wraithvine, and Pondermoore were traveling, they'd just entered the city with Slippery Sam's cage. A young homeless child, potentially younger than Vee, bumped into the wizard trying to lift the coin pouch. The child was thin, dirty, skittish, and reeked of immense, untapped magic. Thursday, Catching Up and Shoulder

I didn't do my Wordpress, yesterday. I was out having fun. So I write it today. Huzzah.

If I have the energy, I shall take a garbage bag and whirlwind all of the tissues out of my room. If not, no loss.

Beloved and I spent a lovely spa day. It came with profiterole mice. Imagine a profiterole with white icing on top. One part has been deliberately drizzled to represent a muzzle.

Wednesday, Spa-Wordpress

It's supposed to be Wordpress Wednesday, but it's also a Spa Day for my love and I so it's anyone's guess as to whether I can get that accomplished or nay.

Whatever happens... happens.
