Thursday, In the Wars

Those of you who follow this blog regularly know that I gave myself a papercut in my sleep. Without any paper present. Yesterday afternoon, I hurt myself more than a little extra.

In the act of getting the mail, I stood on a pile of cut grass that had gone rotten. Said grass slid out from underneath me. I went down like a sack of spuds and landed hand first on a concrete stair riser immediately behind me.

Firkin OW.

I tried to type after I bandaged myself up, but it was way too painful. Hence the apology on my Tumblr.

I think I was also having an episode of shock because I felt some horrible cold and needed a lot of sleep. Still, a long rest has recovered my ability to type, but not my ability to press my hand on things.

I shall be treating myself very carefully today. Let's see how many cheevs I accomplish.

Tuesday, Patreon, and a Problem

It's Patreon Tuesday, so I have a bunch of stuff to post. I don't have anything for Tale Foundry - YET. Thinking about this is one of my tasks today.

I aim to get a month's worth of fictions tagged because I keep forgetting to do a week a day. Bleh.

Long Monday, Disorganised today...

Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are apparently running the world. Ugh. I'm just waiting for it to bite some bums to be honest. I just hope they're not my bum.

I just played four hours of D&D that included familiaris interruptus [aka when the fam interrupts gameplay] and virus interruptus [aka: coughs and sneezies interrupting everything]. Fun stuff. Typical for an in-the-flesh game, too.

Tale Foundry is doing its stream as I type. I spent most of my morning alternately watching Toasty doing amazing things with lines and blobs, and writing even more Koshdelia for funzies.

Saturday, Day 0, Surrender?

The government is not making people check in any more. They don't use the app, they don't use the app data, and so many people just sail on by without checking in, it's criminal.

I keep feeling like everyone in charge is just sticking their heads in the sand about this damn plague and hoping it goes away. Nevermind the thousands who die of it. Nevermind the thousands who are incapacitated by it. As long as the money flows, all is well.

Still not looking at the news or the stats. I might be feeling better through wilful ignorance, but I am not there yet. Not at the top of my game.

Thursday, Day 0, STILL busy

I'm feeling a bit better about my place in the world this morning, but I know I'm still on recovery. So. No stats. No news. Just me doing my utmost to just achieve stability.

Speaking of stability, Mayhem is renewing his learner's permit, an event that I predicted. He's starting to realise that time and procrastination is going to bite him in the bum. BY having time and procrastination bite him in the bum.

Every time I even think of looking at the stats, I get the morbs. So I'm going to try not doing that tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Speaking of luck, I tried to get some testing done to be certain of my body chemistry, but the doc couldn't understand why I wanted all that. The tests the quack wanted to do were all for a certain thing and they have hoops to jump through and bleh.

Still not looking at the infection news, but I doubt the numbers are doing any better. I doubt the world has got any smarter. Especially not about the gorram plague.

Still, the murder hobos got to do some murdering, though it was a close thing for a change. I gotta count the corpses and figure out the loot and then work out what the next step is. Fun.

I'm still not looking at the statistics or the news. I just can't stand it any more. There's a reason why I stayed away from the news before the firkin plague hit.

I'm not doing plague news today. It's firkin depressing. Same reason why I'm not looking at the news. I have enough morbs without seeing how idiotic the world is being.

Today is a feast day, so at least part of my plns involve eating all the no-no's I can fit in my bod. Which may or may not be an endorphin booster. We shall see.

Chaos needs new shorts, she also needs to get her booster. So that's also in my agenda.
