Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon, Shrink, and Dink

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. There's sixteen total active cases, fourteen of them are in hospital. Australia's at 90.5% first vax, 83% fully vaxxed. Queensland's still last in the vax rate at 82% first vax and 70.5% fully vaxxed. Now that we're at 70% first dose, the borders are OPEN.

Bring on the plague carriers from NSW and Victoria, I guess.

Today, I have Patreon nonsense to share, a visit to the shrink, and fleshing out the third layer of the Mad Mage. Before I make a start on the fourth -_-

I am glad I gave myself time to build all this shit. Hell, just yesterday, I had to build an encounter map out of whole cloth because my players want to do a heist.

Yay.

But it's Bus O'clock so I shall get on with getting on.

In the news:

  • Some fuckwit strapped a bomb to himself and blew up a Liverpool taxi rank
  • Drama at Triple M
  • Biden/Harris approval rating drops even more
  • Town in danger of flooding
  • Ex Aide to the Muppet says the orange one is a sore loser. Like, we knew, but thanks for the confirmation
  • Mr Paris Hilton has a secret love child
  • Plague protestors to face 25 years in jail
  • Man steps on oyster shell shard, gets infection in his foot
  • Streaker at a pizza shop
  • 4500 YO temple found in Egypt

And now... story and such.

Tuesday, Day 1, Patreon

Plague news: No new cases! There's thirteen total active cases, ten of those are in hospital. Australia's at 89% first vax, 80% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 79.6% first vax, 67% fully vaxxed.

Western Australia and the Northern Territory are the ones lagging behind. Especially on the second dose.

I have Patreon content to post, people to call, a river to build [TaleSpire's "fun"], and not enough funds to pay for all the things that need fixing.

In order of expense:

  1. The

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: one new case, an import. There's thirteen total active cases, eleven of those are in hospital. Australia's at 88% first vax, 77.5% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 77.8% first vax, 64% fully vaxxed.

I have Patreon stuff to post. Since I've finished KOSTSS, I'll be filtering the chapters down to the $1 tier AND posting the final chapters to the upper tier.

The plan for today matches yesterday. To the tune of Pick a Little from The Music Man

Tuesday, Day 3, Patreon

Plague news: no new cases. Twenty-two total active cases, fifteen are in hospital. Australia's at 86.8% first vax, 73% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 75%first vax, 60.7% fully vaxxed. We need to get the firkin lead out.

I have Patreon posts to make today. Some chapters and a Tale Foundry entry, but not a lot for the dollar tier.

My patrons are going to get a sneak peek of the road trip variant of my Chaos Table.

My battle today

Tuesday, Day 2, Patreon

Plague news: no new cases! There's twenty-five total active cases, eighteen of those are in hospital with one in the ICU. Australia's at 84.8% first vax, 68% fully vaxxed. Queensland's at 72.5% first vax, 56.9% fully vaxxed.

Australia seems to be charging ahead on the "opening up, ready or not" policy, disregarding how many infections and so forth that are happening. Like the new variants that are -join the chorus- more infectious and more deadly than previous ones. Huzzah.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: one new case, an import. There's thirty-four total active cases, with eighteen in hospital and one of those in the ICU. Australia's at 82% first vax, and 62% fully vaxxed. Queensland's up to 70% first vax, almost 53% fully vaxxed. Today, that count goes up by two as I am taking my spawn to get their second jabs. Huzzah.

I also have 500 words to write, Patreon material to post, and some fiddling about in TaleSpire to do. One of

Wednesday, Day 0, AUGH

Plague News: Two new cases, local transmissions. There's twenty-seven total active cases, sixteen of them are in hospital. Australia's at 79.9% first vax, 57.4% fully vaxxed. Queensland's STILL at 49% fully vaxxed.

It's 6 days until Miss Chaos gets her second jab. Mayhem gets his later on in the month. Drops in the ocean still fill it all the same.

Today, I am taking a bit of a holiday from my novel because it's fighting me. I need to catch

Tuesday, Day 2, Patreon

Plague news: NO NEW CASES! We have twelve active cases, seven of which are in hospital. Australia has moved up to 76% first vaxxed, almost 52% fully vaxxed. Queensland is at 45% fully vaxed. My spawn are getting their second jabs next month. Yay. On separate days. Boo.

Thanks to Tale Foundry being back in action I have a NEW WORK for my $5 tier over in Patreon. Yay. The one person who pays for that should be glad. I hope.

I'm

Tuesday, Day 0, Jabs at Last!

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. Twenty-eight total active cases, with eighteen in hospital. The kids are getting their first jabs today and myself and Beloved are getting our second ones tomorrow.

Which means that the next couple of weeks are going to be "fun". Especially when we're also aiming to unfuck the house and yard.

...whee...

I have to do the Patreon stuff after the kids have been pierced. Because getting them organised is the big challenge this AM.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: Four new cases, two of each. Twenty-six total active cases, eighteen of those are in hospital and one's in the ICU. Lovely.

Both the spawn are down with a random sickness. Lurgi has struck the household and it's only a matter of days before it strikes at me.

We've rescheduled the big jab for a week later and crossing our fingers.

I don't have an awful lot for Patreon, but I'm doing my best. I'm pretty sure my patrons understand.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague news: five new cases, all imports. There's twenty total active cases, fourteen of those are in hospital.

I have a process for going through the edits for Adapting and it is thus:

Stage one - accept all the uncommented errata fixes.
Stage two - get through the commented ones until things are resolved
Stage three - repeat stage two until polished.

I can do stage one on the next chapter whilst refining the previous one to a mirror shine. Yay. And

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon

Plague News: Two new cases, one of each. Thirty-eight total active cases, with twenty in hospital and two in the ICU.

I'm running out of stuff to add to my Patreon pages and it sucks. The after-effects of Lockdown Brain are catching up with me.

I'm doing my best.

In the news:

  • Apparently new freedoms are coming for NSW despite Knomiras to the contrary
  • Victoria's plague numbers leaked
  • USA warns Aus about more plague nonsense
  • Taliban calls live TV to vomit hate

Tuesday, Day 1, Shrinky Bzns

Plague news: NO NEW CASES! One hundred and twenty-nine total active cases, with thirty-four in hospital, one in the ICU.

It is so nice to see the numbers dwindling. I can breathe a little easier even if I am still wearing a mask.

I have already posted my story for Tale Foundry but my lucky Patrons will be seeing the extended version that I had to cut because word limits.

Today is not a good day for internets in this household so

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon and Waffles

Plague news: Five new cases - four local, one import. One hundred and fifty-three total active cases, sixty-three are in hospital, and one of those is in the ICU.

I attempted to make waffles out of Beloved's Fail-Levann and the result was.... eatable... I guess. Better with tastier accessories IMHO. The waffles turned out floppy and the pancakes were a load of crepe. Ah well.

I might actually acquire some buttermilk and try the real recipe with my starter harvest this weekend.

Tuesday, Day 0, Patreon PLNs

Plague news: Two new cases, both imports. I heard that anyone near Kippa-ring needs to get themselves tested because of one agro Knomira. Lovely. Thirty-six active cases, thirty-three in hospital and two in ICU.

I'm still not saying Queensland has a handle on things. Last time I said that, a Knomira escaped the net and spread the plague all over Brisvegas. I'm waiting for Doughnut Day to go at least halfway towards the full twenty before I declare that.

All the same,
