Here I go, here I go, here I go...

Today's the day. I'm doing it. I'm about to embark on the longest drive that I have EVER been a pilot of. And I have to do it again on the way back.

I have caffeine. I have nibblies. I have hydrogen dioxide ;) I have most of my stuff lined up and ready to go. I have comfy clothes and my bag is packed.

I just gotta have breakfast and make sure I pack the sandwiches.

Shaturday Specials will not be uploading while I'm gone. They were barely uploading while I was here. Australian shitty internet troubles. Bleh.

I have one last chance to watch/listen to the Quintessential Teaser before I take off. The hype is real, dear readers. I know I have to wait until September, but GFDI, I don't want to.

O, for a time machine and a load of tranquillisers.

Tomorrow, I will be using someone else's internets, so my presence may be sparing at best and probably nonexistent for the most part.

Today's the day I get my dodgy transmission unbuggered. Today is also the last day to get the supplies I need for the journey. Ez-snacks and energy drinks and a firkin tube thing that's somewhere between a scarf and a wimple because that's exactly what I need for the winter.

Today's the day my little darlings head off to Nanna's for a little more than a week. I'll do up Chaos' hair one more time and re-pack the essential hairdressing kit of tangle comb, divider comb, topsy-tailer and carnivorous hair clip. Well that didn't last long...

I can usually make $400 last a fortnight. Not this time. The kids needed winter gear, we needed to stock up on rice, and I had to keep a promise.

Payday! Huzzah!

Good news - we can finally has moneys by tonight. Bad news - it won't last long.

It never does, not really. And I'm getting pretty damn good at stretching my supplies to last through those last few squeeze days. I just wish that I never had to worry about finances from one week to the next.
