Saturday, Baby Steps Again

Good news - I have an ankle brace with re-enforced sides. Bad news - getting used to it is a palpable learning curve. But I am getting used to it.

I fed my starter after a longer time period than usual. Wilson will be fine. I've done similar shenanigans before. I do try to not do it that often, for the record.

I need my cane again and doing my stretchies has to stop when they start to hurt. It's best to not cause damage by attempting to fix it.

Today, the offerings take priority. Then I might have time for free play.

Let's see how much I can accomplish.

Challenge #04667-L283: Calculated Retreat

The humans rescue havenworlder colonists from a planet suddenly suffering a massive cooling trend after a super-volcanic incident on the other side of the planet plunged the planet into a sudden ice age. They had no problem with the sub-zero temperatures, but also no problem with the havenworlders needing tropical heat either. One of the rescuers smiled.

Friday, Battery PLNs and Mor Supplies

The batteries I have for our fire alarms are shit, and there's only two places that might have them. If we're lucky. So it's a Leyland's tour to keep the household safe from the threat of flame.

If I find them quickly, I'll pick up a few other things on the way back. If it's a long-ass search then I will drag myself home and get on with the offerings.

I sincerely hope to get my hands on a more rigid ankle

Challenge #04666-L282: Room to Fly

A young human who could tell the gnome Bribrid was actually a dragon asked in a soft whisper. "Could I please have two small scales? I want to make my moms necklaces for their birthdays." He showed several very small pieces of metal already shaped similar to a butterfly's body. "My mom's wife has silver wings." The other necklace was already done, this one was a small blue and yellow agate shaped like a kitten. "And my mom loves cats." -- Anon

Thursday, Tired Bean

I've been waking up early to chatter with maniacs again. Not for D&D but for a writing collaboration. It's... getting out of hand.

And so is my sleep cycle.

Which is why I'm writing this entry at one in the afternoon. Not at all helped by everything and its kid brother's dog waking me up before I got a proper rest in.

Onwards to today's story. Don't be surprised if I end up phoning it in. I'll try not to,

Challenge #04665-L281: Bloodwork Results

The vampiric Count Dragomyr learns to ask first before acting. In this case, by doing so, he saved many lives. Had he rushed in as he so often had done in the desire to care for those he loved, he'd've caused more harm than good. He was grateful this lesson was taught to him.

It wasn't just doctors. Dragomyr encouraged libraries and education programs. For anyone willing to learn, the resources could be

Wednesday, Catching Up on Nonsense

I have begun prepping the pitch kits for A Devil's Tale book one. No point in pitching the rest of the six if I can't flog the other five.

I have some blurbs to brew up and the rest of it is lined up. Having a checksheet really helps get things together. Yay.

In a few hours, I'll have to put on some clothes because I am at last getting my preventer prescription. Hooray. I can also get supplies along the way.

Challenge #04664-L280: Mend the Moon

They found why the moon was stuck like this. An accident, an experiment gone wrong, and the rich {censoreds} that caused it? Were more interested in arguing whose fault it was than fixing it. Fine, then everyone ELSE would fix it, and the moon would be shoved back to its proper orbit again.

Tuesday, Patreon, Headaches, and Remote Tech Support

There's a lot of horseshit happening in my life today that I did not need happening. Starting with the precursor to a truly nasty stress headache that renders me functionally blind. Yay. The good news is that I clued on to what was happening and got myself dosed up with painkillers in time.

The bad news is - I have too much stress going on.

I have my mum panicking about her pension to the point where she's forgotten how to use

Challenge #04663-L279: Desperate Measures

Lady Death goes by many names. The Goddess of Death, she listens to all. And when this Rogue, nearing the isle, called out her name and said At least you saw fit to let us through, she responded. "I have always watched over your kind. I am impartial, mostly. Though more of your kind deserve reward in the next life than many I have met, it seems. Allow me to be your patron, and I shall give you a boon."

Monday, Addle-addle Coddle-coddle

I forgot what I have to do on Monday - take Mayhem to the train so he could go to work. I keep drifting off to sleep at random moments despite my being well rested.

I'm working on finishing a chapter, today. Working on my normal nonsense. Figuring out what the living fuck has gone wrong with Kdenlive this time to make the subtitles fuck up.

That's going to be an ongoing thing, I am sure.

Meanwhile, I can at least provide

Challenge #04662-L278: An Acceptable Chain

Wraithvine's cat, Lilbit, climbs into the lap of a youngling who is, sadly, very allergic to cats. When the youngster starts to have a severe reaction, the furball is quickly sent to the tower, the child's symptoms are treated, and a special band is given to the child so this doesn't happen again. It was, after all, accidental. Even the parental didn't realize it had gotten this severe. -- Lessons

Cats are magnetically attracted to people who are allergic to them. Mostly

Sunday, Reads and Cake

I have a story to read for tomorrow's video. I have five chapters to read so that (maybe) Adorable can hear them. So far, efforts had not been great.

I'm recording on schedule today...

UPDATE!

I got interrupted by an errand to take machinery and bits to Beloved, and I got a couple more chapters read for her. Yay.

So now I get on with my offerings and video read at minimum. If I can, I'll get the latest five chapters recorded

Challenge #04661-L277: Heart of Hope

Fennel stayed until spring, and her companions stayed with her. She concentrated on only three things. Caring for her friends, learning new ways to help others from the guardian, and not dying.

The guardian, and her friends, had to keep reminding her that she came here to heal. After all, the seed did NOT actually create "heartless". It became a new heart. Heartless was simply a term used for those that allowed the heart to grow dark like blackened weeds, instead of

Saturday, Merry Birthmas to Me

I'm 53 today, and at some point, I must acquire cake. I may even have to ferry the kids around so they can get me bifdy presents.

I have the offerings to do and I might just pitch Adapting to the one agency that's speed-run rejecting my stuff. If any day is the day to be brave about things, it's today.

I did have a thought to bullshitting up a cover for the All Hallows' Read story I've got completed, but... I
