Thursday, Spinning Plates

I have to stop wanting to do more things. In the space of an early wakening, I almost volunteered myself for: doing audiobooks, making animations, creating some variety of serial entertainment for YouTube, and maybe being involved with the filming of A Devil's Tale.

Fortunately, Beloved is 90% of my self-restraint.

I kept to reading her some chapters and leaving it there.

I must focus on finishing some projects before beginning others. Making more work to do is just going to make me burned out and useless for anything.

So.

I am under my own command to limit myself and my efforts to what I can handle. A little bit at a time. Every day. Keep those plates in the air and don't worry about adding anything more to that maelstrom until one is done.

But having a podcast where I read things is starting to sound appealing again.

Help.

Tuesday, Patreon and Vet Visit

Jolie is headed back to the vet's today, to see how she's healing up post-surgery. She should soon be back on the kibbles.

Soon to be supplanted with very different (expensive?) kibbles that are better for her teeth. Not looking forward to finding those, to be honest.

Long Monday, Kitty Dental Fun

Poor Jolie is currently locked in the laundry without food and we have to take her water away at a certain hour so that it's safe to anesthetise her for dental work.

Sunday, Solutions!

The epic saga of the Sound System is done! With the purchase of a new amp, and some other incidental accessories, we have a working record player! Yay!

We also have a working casette player, but all my old tapes may have become warped since the last time I put them down. Sigh.

At least vinyl firkin lasts.

Sunday, Tale Foundry and Game Night

Tale Foundry has delayed to another day, so I'm filling in time until Stream O'Clock. Which means I might have time to resume some of my bullshit getting the entry done before the prompt is announced.

Friday, Unfuckening & Some Free Time?

Beloved was out later than I was awake, last night. Visits to relatives post-funeral, sorting things out, I will hear about it when she wakes up.

Today's her day at home so we may get some stuff done in house. Which will include the usual Catio cleanse. I shall attempt to get a dishwash underway as well.

I am attempting a day without coffee, since the extra cuppa pre-game didn't do very much for me. I'll see how far that goes.

Tuesday, Patreon & Stuff

I'm running out of stuff to share because I am devoting my time to other things.

The other things:

  • Summarising Adapting
  • Individuating chapters of A Devil's Tale
  • Dressing chambers for my players to Dragon in
  • Tagging past tales for the app that really needs to get out there

Each of these takes more effort than you might think. Lots of mental effort, reading, and in some cases, jiggery-pokery.

Beloved and I have a mutual way to monitor our spending, so that's a step on the long road towards fiscal stability.

My other steps are taking longer.

Like - getting books ready for publishers. And making my firkin APP ready for shipping out to the app stores. And individuating chapters for Mum's ease of access and thereby editorial input.

I have made the video to my satisfaction, hooray. Now I need to get that onto a thumb drive. And the music onto a different thumb drive. Because technical nonsense.

...I have no firkin ideas. I am feeling run down and frazzled and frayed around the edges. I might just take a Mental Health Day.
