Monday, Owwies

As I type, I now have bracers on three of my joints. One on the ankle, one on my opposite knee, and one on my right hand. My left wrist is threatening to act up as well.

Mayhem can't go to work because the family resposible for taking him on the last leg have the dreaded Rona. Prayers for wellbeing appreciated

Today, walking is painful. I'm getting Chaos to help gather my daily doses.

This might be painful.

The strategy - One thing at a time. It's going to take ages and a lot of explaining, but we will get there.

Speaking of getting there, the Archive has a new prompt that I really need to think about. I have a video to arrange, offerings to make, and a really painful ankle to ice every two hours.

And I have to come up with an idea for the Archive. The prompt is one of the ones that I have had zero ideas for. Though I remember now saying it could be a Miss Bits story.

I now have bracers on both wrists, but at least
the ankle's improving a little bit.

Onwards to making stuff up.

Challenge #04578-L194: When Prey Turns Around

The body lays beaten and bloody on the floor. They were breathing, they would not be killed, but they'd had plenty of chances to back out.

"I have to bring you in alive. I even offered you the chance to come peacefully. Why do you guys always insist on doing things the hard way? You want to kill, fine, but missiles like you need to be launched at the proper targets." -- Anon Guest

Sunday, No Streams

Two hours up, ten minutes "icing" my ankle. Lather, rinse, and repeat. For as long as I can stand doing that cycle.

I've taken loads of time to do my minimal offering output. I don't know if I can move things along quicker. I can try but...

The ankle is distracting even when I'm at my debatably most comfortable.

Add to the interesting times the fact that I'm lacking good quality time with the QPP and feeling a little lonely because of

Challenge #04577-L193: Some Who Wander Are...

Wraithvine (and perhaps companions?) comes upon an inn near a foggy forest where a young knight and his half-wolf lady are struggling to return home. It seems that the hail from another world entirely, one with low and different sort of magic, which may make getting them home a real hassle... -- Anon Guest

[AN: Shoutout to Deathshead419, who I am certain gave me this prompt. I shall try my best with this one]

The thing about magic, the real thing about

Saturday, No Parkrun Because Ankle

I have a maximum of two hours to do things before I have to spend twenty minutes with a cold pack on and under my ankle. Plus I have bread going on. I thought one batch would be enough, and it looks like the kids are back to predating upon it.

Mayhem's off to work this Monday, so I may have to get Chaos to contribute to the bread supply.

I have NO idea how I'm going to deal around shopping time.

Challenge #04576-L192: Sacrifices For the Cargo Cult

The Machine towers over the city, a gargantuan maze of steel, cogs, and steam. Thousands slave away to feed the beast lumber, coal, and blood to build it bigger. No one knows anymore why it was made, who made it, or what it was meant to do. But if anyone is heard questioning The Machine, that individual can expect no mercy. Those who came before can't have dedicated their lives for nothing, they can't have! They cant! -- Anon Guest

Friday, New Routine and Bread

On the advice of my physiotherapist, I have a new way of working. It's a cycle of about two hours and twenty minutes. Two hours sitting up and doing things, twenty minutes with a cold pack juggled around the ankle. Ten minutes under, ten minutes over.

It's... workable.

I have enlisted Mayhem to help me bothering the bread. Just in case I have other bullshit going on.

The starter's incubating, I measured everything but the salt [my bad] and all is more

Challenge #04575-L191: What Price a Wish?

All around the world have opened strange, white colonnaded buildings like banks or fancy law offices. Except these "Exchanges" are entirely empty save for shadows behind the frosted windows at the back who never speak. Here a lucky few can redeem gold lettered coupons for any wish the heart desires. Though the mouth had better word the request carefully, as those shadows listen carefully and there are no refunds... -- Anon Guest

Thursday, Physio and Catching Up

Getting all my nonsense for the household cost me money and energy. So I'll be catching up on my videos at some point today.

I take off at a quarter to ten so I have a hope of writing some ADT before I get on with the rest of my daily nonsense.

I honestly don't know how I'm going to deal because my right heel has started stinging for no apparent reason. Fun times.

Adorable has a headcold, Mayhem has signed up

Barber/Doctor Tynmalin has handled plenty of sicknesses, carefully studying the humors of her patients and applying sharp things when needed. However this BD comes upon a delicate case of separating two conjoined twins which will test her finesse and medical/cutting prowess to the limit. -- Anon Guest

Some things are healed with a spell or a prayer. For the outliers in which power cannot help, there is surgery. A job for Barbers once upon an era past. Thus, the League

Wednesday, Rant and Shopping Due

My USB power hub expired last night. Fun times. Now I have one of those added to my list. I have to stop off in several more places than originally planned.

I have my knees and ankle re-enforced, yay, but as I was getting my doses together, my right hip decided to add to the fun times.

...yay...

My PLNs include fortifying my funds with a visit to the local Cash-4-Cans place. Just to have that little bit extra. If we need

Challenge #04573-L189: Literate Legacy

Opening a box belonging to a great-great-grandparent, they smiled warmly. This was truly a treasure. An heirloom beyond any they could have desired as an inheritance. Their grandparent had always been an avid writer since they were young. And what was in the box? Diaries. From the time their grandparent had been a child, into adulthood, into old age, and even a few weeks before their serious decline made it impossible for them to do more than sleep, and write in their

Tuesday, Patreon Stuff and Ankle Gambits

Today's theory is that my regular walking shoes are too heavy for my fragile, sprained joint. Which is why I might be getting nerve janglies when I put that thing on a cushion or up on my knee.

So far, so good.

I still can't sit up at my computer for extended periods of time, so my PLN for relief is (drumroll) taking napnaps.

I did make some arts, yesterday, but the protocol I used to share it with myself made it

Challenge #04572-L188: Heroism From Hubris

They were addicted to going into dungeons and trying their luck. The harder, the better. Their skills improved incredibly since they had been doing this since they were young. Of course, immortality didn't hurt either. So what happened to all the loot? There were several temples, hospitals, and care places that didn't have to worry about money thanks to their addiction. -- Anon Guest

Monday, Video and Ankle

I woke this morning [third time's the charm] with the sincere belief that my sprained ankle had finally healed. I could get back to doing my heel stretchies.

No.

I could not.

I aggravated my sprain. So I might be another week in the bracer. Powers alone know how I'm going to get the shopping done because it's always a Leyland's Tour.

I might have to do the driving and take a helpmeet to do all the running around.

Today, there shall
