Fun was had with my international maniacs, early this AM, and I am much better for a nap afterwards. The PLN for today is to grab screencaps and seek help for the "brackets issue" in GameMaker.
After the usual offerings, of course.
I am starting to recognise that the physio is getting my painful heels to behave themselves, so now I'm invested in doing all the physio things.
The rest of my day is reserved for time to chillax. Which means that I need to get a wriggle on if I want that time.
I did parkrun with little impact on my poor old feet. Huzzah. What it did make an impact on was my energy levels. I needed a nap after I got home.
So the offerings will be going out as soon as I can get them out.

There's flaws that should be easily detected, errors allowed to pass. I'm starting to worry this person is using AI to put out low effort somethings.

But homemade bread is better for you than the alchemical experiments they're selling in the shops, so it's worth it.

I have added gel pads to my super foot-friendly shoes, and I think it's made a difference. So too has swapping the side I use my cane on until my other heel stopped whinging about things.

Read more »I'm getting weird stabbing pains in the back of my right heel when I bend over to pick up things from floor level. My physio recommended extra padding on the relevant shoe and keeping up with the cold soaks. As well as all the stretchies, of course.

And speaking of alterations to things, I had to remove the brackets from the title of this year's anthology because they want the cover and the words in the title to match. Fucking. Hell.
Also, Smashwords and Draft2Digital are doing affiliate links for profit reasons and they were the LAST non-evil self-publishing venue I had. Powers damn it.

Read more »Miss Chaos' first mission was a clusterfuck. She got to the 7-11 all right but had issues bringing the ice back. Someone there offered to help, but she misunderstood, handed him the milk crate, the ice, and the bungee cords and then took off for home.
Sigh.
We're going to have to get that kid a definite basket for her bike.

Read more »I did get the branches away from the fenceline. The downside of this is that I ruined my feet in the process. Following parkrun, I could not walk very far, very well. It hurt a LOT. So I had to cancel the international VTTRPG sesh so I could spend some extra hours off those feet in the hopes that rest would help a little.
