Realm of the InterNutter

Thoughts, stories and ideas.

There is a way out...

Congress signed into being a constitutional amendment that allowed the President to take complete control - dictatorship, if you will - without the approval of congress.

I think it’s Rule 52 or something of the ilk. I remember seeing it in the OWS-tagged entries via Tumblr.

The President needs to use that rule. Take command. And then tell the armies to arrest every last 1% douchebag currently in the United States. Seize their property, their wealth and use it to build a better nation.

And enforce every law he needs to to make sure that corporations can not ever take control again.

It’ll probably be the last thing he ever does as president, because those who hold the real power don’t want to be on the receiving end of anything like that… which is probably why Obama is laying low and saying little.

Yet, sooner or later, it will come to that choice. Save a nation or kill it.

With the same tool.

Dear 1%

I know you like having it. Money. Power. Fame.

Everyone wants it. People usually want to earn it.

Most of you have inherited it. Or manipulated things so you can keep it.

There’s just one thing.

If you succeed in obtaining all the money - money then becomes worthless.

The majority, those “unwashed masses” you sneer and jeer at from your balconies as they struggle for a slice of justice beneath you… they’re going to

“Her eyes are up there, pal.”

I did it. I created humanised pony art.

Why I did this:

I’ve been browsing the internet fan art scene for a while and the humanised portraits are either porn or of little girls. I’ve also been thinking about what they’d really be like if they were people.

Fluttershy is shy for a reason. Amongst other cruelties like not finding her talent until she was expelled from her

Compost Hint: Empty Your Mulch Bucket Often

Composting and mulching is a natural process involving organic waste. And as such, it is almost inevitable to attract… little visitors.

Insect visitors.

That lay eggs in your mulch bucket.

I don’t want to be too gross about things [hence the lack of instructional pictures] but I’ve been a little too busy, sore and tired to go empty the mulch bucket into the compost bin, these last few days.

That bit me in the butt.

Big time.

CENSORSHIP OF THE INTERNET??!??!!!?!

CENSORSHIP OF THE INTERNET??!??!!!?!

r0llaj0int:

Reblog it.

Didn’t something like this happen in Egypt, recently? Didn’t something like that fail worse than the Titanic? Don’t these people remember what happened to the last douchebag who tried this?

Hubby's Shoe Adventure

Hubby had the quasi-ignorant opinion that I could find the perfect shoe if I knew where to look.

Let me outlay the criteria for you:

Comfortable.
Flat heel.
Decent tread.
Hard-wearing.
Leather sole
Size 9-10.
Sandal.

Yeah, I have big feet. And no, I can’t go to drag shops for shoes because (a) I don’t know where any are and (b) I suspect they’d be full of 9-inch heel FMB’s. I can not wear

The more I hear about these "rogue elements"

…the more I think it’s code for “undercover cop inciting violence”.

If you’re in a camp or protest and you see someone getting violent, encourage those around you to push them towards the police.

Then see what happens next.

I’m betting it’ll be like this:

OWS: “Here’s the guy that threw the brick.”

Cops: “Er… Hi Dave.”

Dave: “Crap.”

Awkwaaaarrrrrd….

Occupy Needs YOU!

If you live near an Occupy camp, or feel any kind of horror at the fact that the brutal arm of injustice is currently destroying books… Occupy Needs You!

To turn up.

Bring books, sleeping bags, tarps, food… Anything you can spare. Everything you can carry.

Bring them to the rally points and bring a message with you.

Occupy now needs to keep a watch on the police, to be aware of raids. People in the camps need to be

Planned Obsolescence is Crippling Me

Every girl loves shoes, right?

We’re stereotypically obsessed by them. All girls allegedly want to be Imelda Marcoss when we grow up.

Not me.

I’m apparently one of those rare women who want shoes that work and last. Looking pretty is icing on the cake. I’m going to spend all day in these suckers and I do not want pinched toes or sharp decorative bits or heels that make my trick ankles go off - resulting

Why I'm concerned about OWS

Hubby says the protests are only about the American economy. He says I shouldn’t fret so hard about the economy or the protestors or the whole movement.

I know I worry about things too much. I overthink and over stress. And I see patterns in time.

I see rich people gaining power through their wealth and making laws that solely benefit themselves. I see isolated wealthy in ivory towers not understanding why the “peasant class” are so upset.

Tax Receipt Not Going Far Enough

I’ve been seeing a lot of retweets endorsing the idea of a “tax receipt”, a document telling you, the taxpayer, where your tax dollars are going.

I say it’s a good first step.

A better move would be a Tax Vote. You fill out the form declaring whatever and indicate exactly where you want your dollars to go. And list them in order of importance.

THAT would be a government of true democracy.

Just think about

Help Out a Pegasister?

We interrupt my quasi-regular wall-street themed rant to bring you: ponies.

Or rather, the supreme lack thereof.

Here in Queensland there seems to be an amazing dearth of toys based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I was under the mistaken assumption that Hasbro wanted to make money out of this.

And yet…

There are absolutely
