Send me their email address?
I have three stories that I reckon are finished, but every time I ask for volunteers, I get lots of ‘yes please’ and nowhere to send it to.
I ALREADY HAVE THREE STORIES FOR YOU.
Just send me your freaking email address?

Said defunct laptop has been restored to functionality once more. Yay.
…yknow. In case anyone cared…
My WIP’s back up and running and heading towards 35K at a rate of knots.
Shall let you know when I hit 40K and how much more trouble I have to put my characters through.
Big thanks and kisses to my grand fixer-upperer :)
Read more »So I took my laptop and my novel-in-progress with me on a grand adventure, this afternoon.
Said adventure involved writing two more pages and some damn good stuff.
But when I got it home… the laptop won’t work.
It has power. It was working just fine when I shut it the last time. It just won’t. Turn. On.
And I need those two pages, dammit!
Are there any Mac experts out there who can help me? I

Halfway to having a decent novel.
And I still have to write two more. Yaaaaayyy…
Now I’m on the home stretch, I’m thinking about how to handle the second book. And how I’m going to handle polishing the first novel whilst writing the second.
Any volunteers for beta-reading?

I’m'a call it One Year of Instants.
I’m still debating whether or not to put the sequels/prequels in chronological order, or put things in the order I did them.
What do you, my dear loyal readers think?

A minimum of 40K to go.
Introduced the chief villain, added a plot twist, and made my heroine temporarily deaf.
Oh, and someone pre-chewed a bug for someone else.
Fun times.

50K words to go.
Then I only have to worry about the next 120K words…

Now I’m just waiting for @xotxot to get back to me about the cover.
I’m getting nervous. As I usually do when my success at a plan is entirely dependant on someone else. I’ve had plans of mine fail purely because
Read more »You’ve had some free samples of my writing [check the #story tag in my posts] and now I’m looking for Beta Readers because it’s just occurred to me that handing out stories for free before I try to sell them might just be a bad business plan.
So. Does anyone out there with sharp reading eyes wish to subject themselves to the alpha drafts of whatever the heck my warped mind concocts next?
Read more »I’m taking my time with the sewer level.
It’s almost a month later, and I’m still working on this thing. As I write this [24 Mar] I am STILL stuffing dispensers with brownish objects and occasional representative junk.
And by “representative junk”, I mean: leather for dead animals, raw fish for fish, empty bottles, string, lilly pads, grass, iron fences, gravel, slime balls and pieces of paper. Because it’s not just poo
Read more »I took an actual day off, today. Well, most of a day off.
Possibly 50% of a day off.
Because a Mum’s work is never done. I can’t have a complete day off.
The dog got out and I had to go catch him. Invisible fences are looking increasingly attractive right now.
And I spent the afternoon teaching Mayhem (my eldest) that playing with the dog is fun.
That was exhausting. But fun.
But I didn’t
