So I looked up my downloaded docs to see if I had other ideas for All Hallows' Read and -nope- there goes that thin hope. So I'll farm a few ideas in Ellipsus or, if it works for me, Scrivener.
So no Halloween story this year. Maybe next year. I don't know. All I need is something scary to write about, and there is plenty to be scared of in this cruel world.
The trick is turning it against the perpetrators, Twilight Zone style.
Anyway. I have a story to read and prep for posting tomorrow, a story to write for today, and some self-maintenance to engage in, and maybe some play time on my personal schedule. All regularly interrupted by icing my dumb ankle every two hours.
Elevating the ankle is causing more hurt than ease, so I'm experimenting with arrangements for the elevation and hoping I find something. It's just as much of a bitch as you may imagine.
And some where in the general chaos, I need to look up other agents and see if anyone's ready for my weirdness.
