I'll be putting my new writing rants on my new blogging site tomorrow. I've removed the link to Wordpress in my menu. It's been replaced by my new blog centre.
I think I'm capable of moving five old blog entries a day. Since I've been blogging on Wordpress since 2017, that's going to take me a while.
The good news is that I can back-date the archival stuff, so the move will be imperceptible when it's done.
I do regret that I'll have to hide my professional chapters behind a paywall. All the better to keep it from the scrapers, my dears.
I have been one of those "information wants to be free" internet greeblies since I discovered the internet in the late 1980's. I hate that I have to protect my hard work with a paywall. But I also need to make a living by selling my hard work. Having it scraped and abused to the point where an otherwise innocent agent or publisher thinks it's generated... Not ideal.
I'll make offerings, go shopping, do my Patreon and get on with both the move and a side-project of choice.
Not necessarily in that order.
