Welp

I got too many carbs. I ate too many carbs. I am up and over the 77 kilo line, and I pretty much should stay solidly on my diet for a fortnight, but DANG...

That was some lovely stuff.

I am also falling under the thrall of Mayhem's bug. It's a slow decline for me and, with the help of ginger tea and a lot of taking it easy, I should recover in time. Doesn't stop me feeling mildly like shit today though.

This morning promises to be serenaded by the Best Band in the World(tm) - Steam Powered Giraffe. They have a live youtube concert happening and my arse isn't shifting. I'm more motivated to get today's tale down, but it isn't happening in the immediate future because those robots are gorgeously distracting.

The stream's having technical issues, so maybe I have time...

We'll see.

Ever since the second time I listened through Vice Quadrant, I have had rampant plotbunnies for an epic fanfic.

Fret not! I concentrate on my Instants, my novel, and some other upcoming features first. But in my spare moments, I've been working on this fic until my wrists start to ache.

I expect to be away most of the day, so please enjoy the start of something good.

Sill nothing. Our postie is a nice human. I only had to explain my predicament once, and now they’re apologising for the lack of parcels.

I’m also using the house security system to keep an eye out for the parcel post truck, just in case. I know they come by sometime after the postie… if they have a parcel to deliver.

My health is fading.

At least I’m getting exercise. My regime? Running like a mad thing from the computer desk at the back of my house to the front gate to go get the mail as soon as humanly possible. All catalysed by the very instant I detect the postie’s approach.
