Concerning Prompt #00684 - A319: I admit, I was surprised by your comment on the "basement-dwelling, self-entitled, porn-generating weirdoes...

Every interest group has the Stereotype That Makes Them Look Bad. The Muslims have the terrorists, the Christians have the Westboro Baptist Church, Science Fiction Fans has The Big Bang Theory… And Furries… have Those Furries.

You know exactly the ones I’m talking about.

Those Furries who are vocal ignoramuses and objectify everyone or everything with a set of boobs. Those Furries who make arses of themselves whenever the media is watching. Those Furries who, like those bronies, would take a dying child’s wish of a character and turn it into the most sickening porn you never wanted to see. [Yes, that actually happened. Hasbro specifically and publicly stated that one particular character was a Make-a-Wish child’s wish, and asked them to please not generate porn of said character. Said character was Rule 34’d before the Hasbro representatives had finished saying “thank you” at the statement]

You’re not like them. I know that. You know that. And you probably wish you could ban them from ever appearing in public.

I know I do.

But, regardless, they exist. You may even have met one or two of them. And immediately wanted to wash.

The “one crucial step away from bestiality” [which I think is the real sticking point in this case] does not actually refer to the unfortunate examples wanting to mate with the invading Lapinoids. The crucial step, in this case, is actually committing bestiality with real beasts. That’s non-cogniscent animals. Not the aliens.

I probably could have written it better. I realise that. Helpful corrections are always appreciated.

[You’ll also note that, in that story, though one kind of Furry put Earth in peril, the other kind came to the fore and saved it]

I support love in all its forms, so long as it it both mutual, and mutually beneficial for those experiencing it.
