The PLN as it was was:

  1. Update everything
  2. Reload the saved video
  3. Hope it works

That didn't do buggerall.

I'm going to try rebuilding the video from extant files and see if that works. Then I go searching for solutions if that fails to do the thing.

But first, I go make my offerings. Then I do all the FAFO to try and get my videos back into operation.

Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
