Friday, Wonderful Day For the Creative Spirit

I have commenced a process for moving my shit off of Draft2Digital and onto Ingram Spark. The caveat to this is that I need to buy "real" ISBNs for each book.

Given that I have 31 books out already, and I likely have more in me, that's going to cost a bit. Close to $600 dollarydoos. Ouch.

I have three bucks in the bank and a fraction of that in my Paypal. So I'm doing what I can. Shifting files off of Draft if they're available free, and adjusting prices for the stuff that could earn money.

I can get the books downloaded off of Draft in Epub format, and then wrangle things from there. Which involves a lot of fussing around because the transfer from Smashwords to Draft managed to wreck everything.

Yay.

Adjusting the short stories is more than enough of a pain in the bum. I'm dreading doing the novels... but they stay on Draft for the meanwhile.

If anyone wants the free tales, they can bother me for them. I can gift them the ePubs(unfixed) or the fixed text files when I have them prepared.

I don't have a lot of them prepared at the moment.

So I shall curse my fate for a little while and get on with getting on with things.
