Poor Scramble catches a cold. -- BKF

Temporal magic can do a lot of things. It can help with so much in the everyday adventures of life. What it can't do is prevent illnesses. Scramble could be forewarned, and therefore fore-armed of events in hir immediate future. Ze could dodge any material missile thrown hir way, or catch it if it was food.

Nobody had thrown something at Scramble for months, but ze caught a cold nevertheless.

The best remedy, no matter who had what powers, was rest and hydration. Which left Scramble dozing in a comfortable bed inside Wraithvine's portable tower. Which was a cozy house that had a herb garden, soft furniture, and interesting views.
