I can't help it, I gotta know, how DO people react at the royal event seeing the twins together?

At the Party
Too much fun.
A level 3 deathworlder has to come bail their human out of jail again! The human has an arm band showing they are currently battling a mental health issue. The poor person is an addict undergoing treatment and had escaped from the care center. The havenworlder medic at the caretaker's side sighs, shaking their head as the human is dealing with a major hangover. Helping addicts clean up is so incredibly frustrating! Sure the work is rewarding, but it's no wonder the caretakers of these poor souls see their therapists so frequently.
<H> "Hold still, we're going to try this again."
<galactic volunteer> "It won't knock me out like last time?"
<H> "Nope, bugs are worked out, we tested on other humans first for a reason after all, that knock-out was accidental, sorry about that."
<galactic volunteer> "Alright, I'm ready."
The human throws the small metal disk which adheres to the galactic and, suddenly, they can't move. They can breath, see, hear, they are not being hurt, but they can't, otherwise, move.
<galactic> "Well... it works, take it off now please."
<human> "Thank you very much for your help, I'm grateful." They remove the disk and transfer time to their
volunteer's account before heading straight to medical
<galactic> "Why did you make that?"
<Human> "The more we go after bad guys, the more people end up dying in the fight. The more we can stop bad guys without killing, the happier I'll be."
Small does not mean weak
They were a level 3.5 to level 4 deathworlder. Yet they wore a livesuit because they were quite small and looked almost like a humanoid jellyfish in appearance. Their world would be considered a 'gas planet' where none could land, but in a world where there is tonnes of organic matter, life would evolve. Not quite a gas giant as far as size and gravity, but not a small world. Yet the livesuit was not to protect them from the atmosphere of the station they had walked on to, it was to protect others from the stinging fronts that made up the majority of their body.
RE: Defensive Fitness
This is the same as this topic. Heh, I know Internutter doesn't NORMALLY do this, but given these two are asking the exact same thing, mebbie a two-fer this time? Both topics at the same time?
RE: Pib saves the day
Heh, I like this one for your prompt better my friend! Heh, a human toddler who already has a listed kill count!
You said you wanted to use it Internutter. :-) Your wish is my command.
"Never raise more devils than you can put down. You raised one devil too many...father."
Watches as the dad's face pales and he's like "Um... oops."

That is one hell of a line and I want to make an excuse to use it
Mr. Sunshine's Past?
Hey Internutter, about this Prompt, about the kid that started killing young due to the brutal life they grew up in? https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-02894-g337-humane-accommodations
There's been an interesting chat about it and could you confirm / deny for us? Now I'm dying to know!

Hm, I'd love for this guy and Mr. Sunshine to meet up. Heh. "Twins by spirit if not by blood?" That would be interesting, what do you think?

Yes to this! Unless Jay is Mr Sunshine?

Interesting theory! Comfortable sweaters, sensible shoes, loves cats, maybe Jay IS Mr. Sunshine. Taking on a new name after he left Independance? I could see him using an alias instead of his birth name, given the pain of his family life. And then I can see him secretly sending money to his mother and surviving siblings from his paychecks and selling his paintings so they can live a good life.

Awesome headcanon backstory, I'm running with that til we find out more (if we find out more XD).
The dereggers had managed to get a licence to run casinos in space that was, technically, Alliance space, but was so far from the beaten path that the CRC had trouble keeping an eye on things. There's where Lucky as people called him, came in. He was a lucker with only a single real talent. He never lost a bet. Didn't matter if it was cards, dice, board games, slot machines, whatever, he never lost. So, when it became clear just how crooked and underhanded these places in, a whisper or two in his ear, and he was off to have some fun.
Interview with a Prisoner
People are curious as to what happens to the prisoners at Greystone. They believe punishment and harsh time is the only way to reform. But those sent to Greystone never leave. Families of those sent there are wondering where their family members are. A crew comes to ask to do an interview with some of the inmates and show the families life inside the prison.
Just kinda curious what would happen if the outside world, especially the families of inmates, would do knowing what Greystone is like rather than what they think it's like?
RE: A simple game
Can you imagine a world where, when two nations had a conflict that would likely come to blows because they could not work out their conflicts peacefully without anger, instead of lives being ended with bombs and other horrible weapons, the war was, instead, fought on a chess board?
Learn Something Guys - Part 2
The Dereggers gave up their trash planet, a toxic hell-hole that would've cost them a fortune to clean up. They signed an iron-clad contract that had every single i dotted and t crossed. Not so much as a gnat-sized loophole anywhere. And it was signed by their leaders and several leaders from the Galactic Alliance as witnesses, and him, of course.
He took all that was there and made enough time to make himself an insanely wealthy man. Wealth he then turned around and invested, instead of hoarding it, using it to terraform a toxic dump into a paradise. The poisons removed, the debris, gone, the air and water as pure as if the planet was newly discovered. The planet had been turned into a world even the weakest havenworlders would find beautiful and humans would think was nearly heaven.
However, now the De-Regger leadership was pissed. They demanded a change in the deal, but it was too late. But as he decided to give these angry men an object lesson, could they learn, or would they continue to scream foul? Still..... it did feel good to see the looks on their faces when they landed on the paradise that was their former trash planet, confronted with the fact they didn't own it anymore.
A sequal to this gem:
Working for Madam
I know this one's hella old, but I was wondering, as he gets older, has a girlfriend, maybe kids, do they end up working for Madam? Does he teach his kids computer equipment and have them to go college so that they can work for her and be her IT team? Or does he actually suggest hiring an IT team, working with her carefully, of course, so that she can stay up to date? Or, does she end up turning him into a vampire so that he can be her eternal IT guy and asks him to choose a few others to train up like he is so they can stay up to date with the equipment forever, too? What would it be like to be a vampire's eternal IT consultant?
It's from this prompt from 2018. https://peakd.com/fiction/@internutter/challenge-02106-e283-tech-support-for-the-undead
RE: Mr. Clingy
Hey, that sounds like MY two cats! LOL I swear I can't get any work done during the day if I let them in my office . So during the day when I'm working I have to kick them out so I can get stuff done. It breaks my heart to hear their yeowling but I have a job to do. Working at home does have drawbacks. But once work's over and I open my door, this is what they do.
RE: Want to comment on postings
I had someone help me get a PEAKD account. Apparently Hivesigner is by invite only. Fortunately, I found the PEAKD Discord page and they helped me get in so I can make comments again. Btw, I find it amusing you use Brii or Bree for some of your character names. My nickname is Bri - short for Bridget. LOL
Good to see you again, Internutter! I love all of your stories, esp. the ones where the wealthy elites get their keesters handed to them because of their behaviors.
Btw, if you ever have prompts from past stories from your steemit, if you want the story, I'll go and look for it for you. I've been doing that for others when I see prompts that quite obviously link to some of your stories from the past.
From - Bridget.
Want to comment on postings
Is there any other way than posting on PeakD to comment on your postings? Some of them are wonderful but try as I might, I can't sign in to PeakD and there seems to be no way in despite all their "login options" short of buying subscriptions that I cannot afford.
