It's Sunday, so my natural inclination to get moving and do anything is almost nil.

And I stayed up until nearly midnight listening to The Adventure Zone. Because I wanted to hear the end of it. Didn't get that far, because it was gone ten PM and there's no way that anyone can listen to 160 minutes of cool RP within two hours.

Miss Chaos returned home, last night, and to celebrate - we had fish and chips. Well. The little darlings had fish and chips. Beloved and I simply had grilled fish with a healthy dollop of Aoli.

Today, it's back to stew and whatever I can afford until such time as we get another influx of protein. And I have to rattle on up to the health shops to get some actual eggs.

This is not just a household rodent problem, though we do have one. I've spotted a minimum of one wee sleekit timorous beastie scuttling between hiding places and I plan to do something about it when I have money again.

Yesterday, I had plans to go and fetch my youngest from Scenic Coominya. Beloved had taken a day off and everything. Alas, Capt S had other plans that involved KIABIL and today. So we were told not to come at all.

I'm still hovering around the halfway mark with the New Compy Fund. If I clean everything out at once, I'm just past halfway there at $1.8K and this is because my automatic payment to my personal funds got cancelled because I took it out of the wrong account.

I have my Hallows' Read story finished and in Beta. I don't have to clean, today. So some part of today will be spent on 'shopping up a cover for that sordid and horrific tale.

I'm montaging references for the cover of Beauties and the Beastly, tracing what I can and deciding where I'm going to use pattern brushes[^1]. But I'm going to take a break from the cover, today so I can devote my time and energy to some more frames of SESP.

Crack Slaw is delicious. It's even okay when you leave out the coconut amino by accident. It's better when Beloved adds eggs, coconut oil, coconut cream, and a whole bunch of other yummies.

There's not quite enough for tonight, so I'll be making more Crack Slaw tonight and endeavouring to remember the soy sauce substitute.

It was a quiet weekend, all up. And, for the record, Beloved and I finally got to watch the Lego Batman Movie. The internet was right. It is the best Batman movie ever.

My PLNs for today involve the usual cleaning and writing, but also include a new discovery called Crack Slaw. To anyone who watches that video - go ahead and follow that dude. He is gorgeous.
