The second attempt at a _Bob and George_ crossover. And just in case you're
interested, there's really no such thing as a gripley wrench. I made it up
so that tool nerds everywhere would obsess about their collections ^_^ Ha!
The world is *MINE*!
Ahem.
I love the idea that MegaMan is even stupider than Jean, and mistakes a tall
purple-armoured person with a green cape for a girl scout.

At the time that I wrote this, ProtoMan [second panel, the guy with the scarf] was
pictured as going on 'benders' and being an alcoholic. Unfortunately for me, by the
time this aired, it turned out to be ProtoMan's evil clone. Sigh. Nonetheless, this
doesn't stop any character in _Bob and George_ getting shickered on Wily Beer.
Likewise, Dr. Light is frequently struck with amnesia and doesn't remember the
previous panel ^_^
Anything to give our dear Cape Man(tm) a tough time.

I loved this strip. Bass [the one in black armour] is an evil robot made
by Doctor Wily, yet in _Bob and George_ he and MegaMan are best buds. Go
fig. Bass is also dumber than a box of hammers.
Therefore, when he claps eyes on Cape Man(tm), he thinks he's looking in
a mirror, and someone painted him purple.
Then he spots the cape and thinks he's a girl scout...

I'd just spent all day altering 32-bit Roll to look like Ororo, and I realised that
Ororo would never in her right mind wear an outfit like that, and a comic strip was born.
I kludged the Professor out of several 32-bit MegaMan sprites, and made the chair all by
myself. I have a 'left' and a 'right' Professor, each with different expression layers.
If anyone wants to do any different poses, do let me know. I'll find a way to send you the
PSDs so you have something to start with. I'm lazy enough to not care ^_^

Most of 32-bit Roll's poses have her holding her dress down, so I had to establish that
this was going to become a habit. And, of course, Ororo's a bit miffed about the whole
sexist attire, and Cape Man(tm) just happens to walk in and say the wrong thing at the
wrong time, thus opening himself up to get clobbered.
The rest just wrote itself.

I decided to have fun with special effects, 'cause Ororo can fly. And what better
excuse to have her fly than talking to someone who can stick to walls?
I frankensteined up the cling-to-a-wall-and-hold-something Kurt sprite, and I think it
worked quite well. The rest of the strip is just elegant simplicity.

And then I realised that I'd made adult characters 32-bits and everyone else wasn't. Well,
I think I'm short, so being in 16 bits doesn't offend me, much, but there is an
inconsistency that might be glaring to the nitpickers out there [Hi, Dan!] who pick up on
these little subtleties. So I picked a decent 32-bit-Roll pose, moved it into my
miscellaneous sheet, and re-coloured and altered it so that it looked more-or-less like me.
Then I showed my darling hubbie and his reaction became the punchline.
